Docklands Light Railway - Stratford International Extension
Skip to navigationStations
As part of the proposed extension, the existing North London Line platforms at Canning Town, West Ham and Stratford will be converted to DLR operation.

Four new DLR stations will be built at:
All stations will be fully accessible for mobility-impaired persons. A full environmental impact assessment has been carried out as part of the study.
Stratford International
A new DLR station will be provided adjacent to the new Channel Tunnel Rail Link station at Stratford.
Stratford High Street (formerly called Stratford Market)
This station will be a twin platform station where the platforms are either side of the tracks. It is located just south of the Stratford High Street with footbridge connections to Bridge Road and Burford Road, to provide access and regeneration to surrounding areas. In order to locate the station here, Bridge Road would be permanently closed except for emergency vehicle access. The option will avoid taking any land from Rokeby School. It will also ensure the station remains close to Stratford High Street.
Abbey Road
This station will consist of side platforms to the north of Abbey Road. The station main access point will be from Abbey Road at bridge level, with another access at ground level from Bakers Row.
Star Lane (formerly called Cody Road)
This station will be an island platform. Some junction changes around Manor Road and Star Lane will be required with a small amount of land required on the corner of Star Primary School. A new pedestrian crossing on Star Lane is proposed. The existing footbridge was removed in August. The new replacement footbridge, along with Star Lane station, will not open until mid-2010.
