Docklands Light Railway - Tower Gateway station reopened

The refurbished Tower Gateway station was re-opened on Monday 2 March.

£13 million of improvements have been made to the station, which had been closed for eight months, including:

These works allow three-carriage trains with 50 per cent more capacity to use this station, making journeys more comfortable by providing more room on trains and on the platforms.

Trains run at least every ten minutes to Beckton, with an average journey time of 14 minutes to Canning Town and 12 minutes to Canary Wharf.
