    The new Docklands Light Railway (DLR) extension from Canning Town to Stratford International will open in Summer 2011, a whole year ahead of the London 2012 Games.

    DLR Station 'moves' at the weekend

    An extraordinary feat of engineering on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) has effectively moved a whole station without any disruption to passengers. South Quay station closed on Friday evening and a state-of-the-art replacement opened this morning 125 metres away, after being tested over the weekend.

    DLR scoops London Transport Award

    Docklands Light Railway (DLR) has won the ‘Cycling Improvements’ London Transport Award for its cycle shelter at Shadwell station. The shelter was introduced last year as part of DLR’s cycling strategy, which aims to encourage passengers to cycle to stations and continue their journey via the railway.
